Jacee Hammons

What inspires you?

I get a lot of my inspiration from nature and travel. I love getting out and spending time in the mountains, seeing new places, and discovering new architecture.

What is your favorite album?

My favorite albums are Strange Trails and Lonesome Dreams by Lord Huron.

Who is your favorite architect or interior designer?

I don’t think I can narrow it down to one specific person; I love different Architect’s and Interior Designer’s work for different reasons. I think that Bjarke Ingles, Zaha Hadid, Carlo Scarpa, Daniel Libeskind, Santiago Calatrava, and John Maniscalco have some brilliant work.

What is your favorite design style?

Mountain Modern, Mid-Century Modern, and the modern style in general. They’re classic and welcoming, and everything is based off of function. Everything has a purpose.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?

I see myself having an architecture license and working under a talented architect. After I learn the ropes and am able to learn as much as I can from them, I hope to open my own architecture firm someday.

Favorite way to relax?

Exercising outdoors. I love riding my mountain bike.
